On the day of your MRI scan visit, our research team member will meet you in the lobby of the East Building, located at 4525 Scott Ave. St. Louis, MO 63110. The scan visit will take approximately 2 hours.
The study will be further explained to you and we will answer any questions you may have. You will sign consent documents and other study documents.
Knowing what to expect for an MRI may help your child feel more comfortable with the experience. This video will walk your child through the process of having an MRI as part of this research study.
We also have a mock scanner that is a simulation of the real MRI scan. It provides your child with the opportunity to see the scanning environment and get a better understanding of what a real scan is like.
If you have further questions please contact us at 314-273-7575.
